Do you want to start your truck driving career? Commercial truck drivers are the foundation of the transportation industry in the United States. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), truck driving jobs are expected to grow by 2%, creating approximately 30,600 positions.
By 2029, the truck driving industry will have acquired 110,00 new drivers due to increased retirement rates and industry growth.
People interested in pursuing a commercial truck driving job and want to step to the front of the hiring line should consider enrolling in a reputable CDL training program. Attending a school like United increases a graduate’s chances of landing a job in the industry and offers several other benefits.
Experienced Instructors
At United, our instructors have lived the life of a commercial driver and are ready to pass their knowledge on to incoming students. They’ll teach the rules and regulations required to pass the CDL exam as well as tricks and techniques they’ve learned from their time on the road. Instructors are a great resource for students, ensuring they receive all the training and support needed to build successful careers.
Behind-the-Wheel Driving
Hands-on experience is an essential part of CDL training. Which is why, along with classroom instruction, our students receive behind-the-wheel experience. As they learn how to maneuver the roads in the training yard and become accustomed to the feel of a big steering wheel, they’ll gain the confidence needed to excel in their truck driver careers.
Guidance and Job Placement Assistance
Before CDL training ends, we make sure to spend time with students, working with them to find the best fit for their lifestyle and family obligations. Whether its long-haul, over-the-road, or local driving, together with our job placement office we’ll find the company and the driving style that works for them, turning their dream into a reality!
United Truck Driving School enrolls students in one of two Southern California campuses at San Diego or Riverside. United offers Class A + Passenger CDL Training as well as Class A and Class B + Passenger.
